Medication Policy
It is our responsibility to follow health-related services guidelines as described in Section 101226, CCR, Title 22.
The child is not permitted to attend the center if any of the following are present:
- Fever of more than 100 degrees
- Nausea
- Diarrhea
- Undiagnosed rash
- Flu
- Any of other suspected or confirmed communicable illness.
If the child becomes ill while at the center he/she will be kept isolated and comfortable, teacher or teacher aide will contact the parent (responsible person) immediately.
All medications must be in their original containers with pharmacy labels which includes prescription number, date filled, physician’s name, directions for use, child’s name.
